Exit Voices is a Vermont blogging experiment. It's a forum for Vermont voters to come together and discuss the issues and candidates on the ballot.

In the comments section of the Exit Voices posts, answer these two questions:

    1. What motivates you to go to your town meeting or polling station and vote?

    2. If you could add a comment on your Ballot for your elected officials to read, what would you say?

Alternately, tell us what you said at your Town Meeting, why you refused to vote, or what makes you crazy about our system of democracy.

If you are confused or don't know how to leave a comment or see other comments, click here.

You may comment anonymously or give your name. You can wear your politics on your sleeve or remain impartial.

    The floor is yours.

Here are some voices of Vermont voters exiting their polling places…

One Response to “EV Video 001”

Excellent vids! Enjoyed each and every one. It was great to view them streaming on my laptop, particularly on full screen, which due to the high quality made truly feel like I was right there. Awesome job! Well done! Thank you!

It would be good if in the future it could ever be managed to make this blog and media a combined one with other community access tv/media centers elsewhere in the state and have this be a more statewide initiative and not just mostly centered on Burlington as it naturally is now since it started there. For example, I would like to see some of the same vids type of timely vids from Rutland, Montpelier, Barre, Bennington and Brattleboro as well as elsewhere if and where ever possible. Then, maybe more people from those areas would also draw to the blog and participate as well. Other wise, people elsewhere in Vermont might be justified in continuing to think “that the one good thing about Burlington is that it is so close to Vermont.”

It is just a thought for elections in years to come.

Something to say?
